London tales... "the mad hatter"

...in a beautiful street in Chelsea ...

there lives a friend of mine who is a fairytale bespoke milliner... his name is Louis Mariette his personality is written playfully and whimsically all over his wonderful white atelier, lush twists of flowers tumble from mad exaggerated Marie Antoinette wig, a white chandelier hat with live candles... , an underwater installation... any mermaids dream...star fish and Aladdin's lamps ...roses and cat masks with sparkles, tiny crowns and tiaras ..... it is all here .... ..

lately Louis has had many pages in various worldwide magazines including French ,British and Italian Vogue ...his creations have caught the eye of many ecclectic folk of late ...

Louis was brought up in Africa in Botswana and went to boarding school in London... a childhood full of exotic plants and animals and flowers is dramatically and luxuriously explored in his creative works ...

..
we have collaborated on several projects over the years and he never fails to amaze...
I adore his whimsical vision and his ability to enchant everyone
his fabulous site is like Pandoras box

even the tiny garden is an enchantment full of nooks to explore
,,

like a magical dream come alive

I always admire people who live fairytale places like this, though I know I couldn't. I am too clumsy to live in places like this :)

Full of magic and prettyness!

This is absolutely enchanting, it looks as though everything possesses the breath of frost, a world frozen by a spell with crystal chimes resounding in the air as one walks through the chambers (or looks at the imagery, in my case) It is allure that feels absolutely timeless, je adore!
